Eilenberger bowls her first 700 series Dec 22, 1998 12:00 AM A A Melissa Eilenberger accomplished her first-ever 700 series Monday night during bowling action in the Invitational League at Medford Lanes. The 26-year-old Medford resident bowled a 266 in her first game, then followed with a 193 and 248 for a 707 series. Eilenberger, who has been bowling since the age of 4, had flirted with a 700 series recently when she bowled a 699 in the final event last year, and rolled a 695 earlier this season. She carries a 187 average in league play. Eilenberger was named the 1988 junior bowler of the year in Medford.
