Axiom Brass at Southern Oregon University Jan 24, 2014 12:00 AM A A Axiom Brass Quintet will perform two programs: “Sacred Brass,” at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 24, will feature works by Palestrina, Gabrieli, Byrd, Bach, Tchaikovsky, Stephenson and Piazzola. “New Standards,” at 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, will feature music by Monteverdi, Rands, McLoskey and Tower. The shows are set for the Music Recital Hall on the Southern Oregon University campus, 1250 Siskiyou Blvd., Ashland.
