Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Valentino Tuesday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine and on a misdemeanor charge of public indecency. He was held in the Jackson County Jail Tuesday on $12,500 bail. Attempted Arson — Corie Everett Jones, 35, of the 8200 block of Rogue River Highway, Grants Pass. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Jones Tuesday on felony charge of attempted first-degree arson and on misdemeanor charges of reckless burning, recklessly endangering another person and second-degree disorderly conduct. Jackson County Community Justice parole and probation officers additionally arrested Jones Thursday on a sanction for strangulation constituting domestic violence. He was held in jail Tuesday without bail. Drugs — Christopher Aaron Merrill, 23, no known address. Medford police arrested Merrill Tuesday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine and on a misdemeanor charge of violating a no-contact order. He was held in jail Tuesday on $15,000 bail. Assault — Brian Austin Haven, 27, no known address. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Haven Tuesday on felony warrants charging him with second-degree assault and unlawful use of a weapon, and on warrants for violating his probation on prior misdemeanor convictions for possessing methamphetamine and oxycodone. He was held in jail Tuesday on $17,500 bail. Luring a Minor — Benjamin Jordan Harvey, 33, no known address. Ashland police arrested Harvey Tuesday on felony charges of luring a minor and purchasing sex with a minor. He was held in jail Tuesday on $15,000 bail. Drugs — Mariah Kayleen Forbes, 29, no known address. Medford police arrested Forbes Tuesday on a felony charge of possessing heroin and on misdemeanor charges of possessing methamphetamine and third-degree theft.
