Roberts made his initial appearance Monday in Jackson County Circuit Court on indictments charging him with two counts of first-degree sodomy, two counts of first-degree sexual abuse and one count of first-degree sexual penetration with a foreign object. He was processed at the Jackson County Jail then released on his own recognizance. Drugs — Frank Anthony Saenz, 37, of the 100 block of Cottage Street, Medford. Saenz made his initial appearance Monday in Jackson County Circuit Court on an indictment charging him with possession of amphetamines. He was processed at the Jackson County Jail then released on his own recognizance. Drugs — Andrew William Long, 24, of the 300 block of West Jackson Street, Medford. Medford police on Sunday arrested Long on a charge of possession of amphetamines. He was lodged at the Jackson County Jail, where he was released late Sunday on his own recognizance. Assault — Jason Kelly Hale, 31, of the 8000 block of East Antelope Road, Eagle Point. A Jackson County sheriff’s deputy on Monday arrested Hale on a charge of felony fourth-degree assault. He was lodged at the Jackson County Jail, where he was being held Monday in lieu of $5,000 bail. Theft — Dustin Franklin Lints, 19, no address available. Medford police on Monday arrested Lints on four counts of identity theft, and one count each of second-degree theft, second-degree forgery and possession of amphetamines. He was lodged at the Jackson County Jail, where he was being held Monday in lieu of $60,000 bail. Advertisement Crime reports Theft — 5900 block of North Foothill Road, White City. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies took a report Monday of the theft of a black Diamond Back bicycle valued at $1,500. The theft was reported to police at 10:05 a.m. Theft — 3600 block of Biddle Road, Medford. Medford police took a report Monday of the theft of a rented 2002 Dodge Intrepid with Oregon license number ZQE-820. The theft, which had no listed value, was reported to police at 6:30 a.m. Miscellaneous Jail releases — A total of 102 inmates were released last week from the Jackson County Jail to meet its court-ordered cap of no more than 190 inmates. Of those, 39 were released before their scheduled court appearances, none was granted an early release from a sentence and 63 were released for miscellaneous reasons.
