Beverly Charlene (Beck) Florian Comment MailTribune.com Writer Posted Jan. 21, 2015 at 2:00 AM Posted Jan. 21, 2015 at 2:00 AM » Social News Beverly Charlene (Beck) Florian passed away peacefully January 16, 2015 at home with her family by her side. Beverly was born April 26, 1936 in Klamath Falls, Ore. to Chauncey and Eva Beck. In 1946 they moved to Central Point, Ore. where Beverly graduated from Crater High School in 1954. She attended Bible college in San Jose, Calif. for two years. She started working for Jackson County Federal as a bank teller and went on to become a loan officer for First Interstate Bank in Medford and Eugene. She retired in 1991 from Wells Fargo in Medford. Beverly was a devoted Christian. She was very active in the Eastwood Baptist Church from singing in the choir to organizing the Thanksgiving Food Baskets every year. She was a wonderful and loving homemaker, cook, and baker. She was an extremely gifted quilter, seamstress, and decorator. She loved traveling and seeing new places with her husband Jim. She is leaving a family that loved her beyond words. Her husband, Jim; daughter, Susan Stanley; son, Paul Hewitt; sister, Barbara Chapman; precious grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents and a lil' sister, Janet. Her memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 23, 2015 at Perl Funeral Home Chapel, 2100 Siskiyou Blvd. Medford, Ore.
