The Cavers (3-0-1 overall) trounced Fortuna, Calif., 5-1, Friday before settling for a 1-1 tie at Eureka, Calif., Saturday. Kelli Briggs, Kori Seymour, Courtney Cameron, Patina Taylor and Danielle Bisson each scored goals against Fortuna, and Jakki Pilcher found the back of the net against Eureka. Grants Pass head coach Hector Cruz complimented Katie Lamont’s distributive performances in central midfield.
