Hamblin recorded her fourth double-double of the season and finished with six blocks. Sydney Wiese scored 16 points and shot 4 of 9 from beyond the arc. Jamie Weisner and Deven Hunter added 15 and 11 points for the Beavers, respectively. Oregon State held a 10-point lead at the break. The Beavers took off in the second half with a 13-0 run — which included six points from Hamblin — for the largest lead of the game, 64-39, with 9:23 left to play. Stacey Barr led Idaho (3-3) with 21 points and Christina Salvatore chipped in 12. Oregon State outscored Idaho 34-18 in the paint and out-rebounded the Vandals 53-40. Men’s Top 25 LSU 74, No. 16 WEST VIRGINIA 73: At Morgantown, W.Va., reserve guard Tim Quarterman scored 21 points and Josh Gray made the game-winning layup with 7.4 seconds left to help LSU to the upset. Jarell Martin had 18 points and 14 rebounds for the Tigers (6-2), who overcame a 14-point deficit in the second half. Keith Hornsby scored 15. West Virginia (7-1) was off to its best start since opening 11-0 during the 2009-10 Final Four season. The Mountaineers were led by Juwan Staten’s 17 points. Daxter Miles added 13 and Tarik Phillip had 12. West Virginia had a chance at the end, but Staten missed a jumper with 3 seconds remaining. No. 20 IOWA STATE 95, No. 18 ARKANSAS 77: At Ames, Iowa, Bryce Dejean-Jones had 27 points, Georges Niang added 26 with eight assists and Iowa State never trailed in rolling past Arkansas. Dustin Hogue scored 14 for the Cyclones (5-1), who led by as many as 23 points in extending their non-conference home winning streak to 24 games. Iowa State’s fast-break offense overwhelmed the Razorbacks (6-1) from the opening tip. The Cyclones took their first double-digit lead less than six minutes in and led 52-32 at the break. Bobby Portis scored 19 to lead the Razorbacks, who haven’t won a road game as a ranked team since 1999.
