Oregon Road Conditions & Cams Email Story to a Friend March 13, 2006 Keyser tops lineup of hockey stars Jake Keyser led Crater into the Southern League hockey playoffs and was named player of the year. The junior forward led the Comets with 22 goals and 10 assists. Also making the first line all-league team was Gianni Assam of North Medford, who led the SOC with 38 points (30 goals, eight assists), and South Medford’s Jared Adamson, who had 16 goals and assisted five times. South Medford’s John Adamson and Klamath Falls’ Alex Young shared the goalie award, with Young posting one shutout, a 90.5 save percentage and a 6-4 record, while Adamson saved 83 percent and had a 5-6-1 record. Dustin Fender of North Medford and Ashland’s Stephan McLaughlin were the top defenders.
