North Lake edges Butte Falls SILVER LAKE � North Lake put itself in position to claim the No. 1 seed out of the Skyline A League with a 50-48 girls basketball triumph over Butte Falls on Friday. The nip-and-tuck game came down to a final shot, only to have a 3-pointer by the Loggers� Lindsey Stockton miss its mark. Stockton finished with a team-high 11 points and seven rebounds for Butte Falls (15-4, 9-2 Sky A). "We got a good look at the basket but it just didn�t go in," said Butte Falls coach B.J. Rodgers. "Every time we went up on them we�d make a couple of turnovers and let them back in the game." The Loggers dropped into a second-place tie with Prospect at 9-2, while North Lake improved to 10-1 in league play behind 15 points from Kristine Robey and Anna Castillo�s 10.
