Police and fire reports March 20 Mar 20, 2013 12:00 AM A A Police reports March 20 Monday, 12:08 a.m. — 29-year-man was cited for having an open container of alcohol in public. Monday, 1:52 a.m. — Police investigated a vandalism case on the 1600 block of Siskiyou Boulevard. Monday, 7:37 a.m. — A man driving a vehicle struck a man crossing Ashland Street in a crosswalk. The injured man was transported to Providence Hospital with serious injuries. The man driving the car was cited for careless driving. Monday, 9:07 a.m. — Police investigated a suspicious situation. Monday, 12:25 p.m. — 47-year-old man was arrested on felony warrant through the Jackson County Circuit court. He was also arrested on a charge of unlawful possession of marijuana and lodged at Jackson County Jail. Monday, 2:03 p.m. — Mental health hold on a man. He was placed in protective custody. Monday, 2:33 p.m. — Police responded to the report of a burglary on the 500 block of Faith Avenue. Monday, 3:37 p.m. — 42-year-old was arrested for a warrant through the Ashland Municipal Court. He was lodged in jail. Monday, 3 p.m. — A minor was cited for minor in possession of alcohol on the 100 block of East Main Street. Monday, 7:19 p.m. — 25-year-old man was arrested on two outstanding warrants from the Ashland Municipal Court and Jackson County Circuit Court. He was lodged in jail. Tuesday, 3:33 a.m. — 20-year-old man was arrested on a charge of third-degree criminal mischief and cited for minor in possession of alcohol. Fire reports Monday, 11:01 a.m. — EMS call to the Arnos Street and Pacific Highway. Monday, 11:17 a.m. — EMS call to Mt. Ashland Ski Road. Monday, 2:09 p.m. — Cover assignment to Woolen Way. Monday, 4:27 p.m. — Alarm system activation to the 2300 block of Ashland Street. Monday, 4:27 p.m. — EMS call to the 1200 block of Neil Creek Road. Monday, 8:20 p.m. — Good intent call to the 1800 block of Ashland Street. Monday, 8:49 p.m. — Invalid assist to the 600 block of Jaquelyn Street. Monday, 10:45 p.m. — EMS call to the 800 block of South Pacific Highway.
