Edward George Gray Mar 26, 2017 12:00 AM A A January 21, 1936 - March 8, 2017 Ed was born to George and Elizabeth Gray, raised in Belleville, New Jersey, and in high school was active in football and crew. He attended Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida on a full crew scholarship. He married Beverly Campbell in 1958 and became a commissioned officer in the U.S. Marine Corps, serving at the Naval Air Station in Beaufort, South Carolina. After leaving the service, the Grays moved to Connecticut, where Ed began his career with the Bell Telephone Company which, in time, brought them to Oregon. Ed was a long-time member of the Medford Kiwanis Club, a SMART reader, Boy Scout leader, bike rider, model-train enthusiast, and lover of home building projects. He leaves his wife, Bev; sons, Scott (Sonya), Jeff, Matthew (Ami), and Douglas (Sandra); and five grandchildren, Julianne, Hannah, Alexander, Andrew, and Daniela.
