Suspect in custody after Buncom area homicide By Mail Tribune staff Updated: Oct 20, 2021 12:32 PM A A The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office says they are in the early stages of investigating a homicide that occurred before dawn outside Ruch. One suspect is in police custody in the wake of the homicide early Wednesday morning in the 3300 block of Little Applegate Road in the Buncom area, according to a release from the sheriff’s office. Details such as the identity of the suspect and the alleged homicide victim were not released as of late Wednesday morning because detectives were still working the case and “investigations are ongoing,” according to the release.
