Emergency services, Oct. 30 Sunday Oct 30, 2016 at 12:05 AM Felony arrests Assault — William Joseph Bradford, 18, of the 1000 block of Queen Anne Avenue, Medford. Medford police arrested Bradford Friday on a felony charge of fourth-degree assault and a misdemeanor charge of fourth-degree assault. He was booked in the Jackson County Jail Thursday and released Friday because of overcrowding. Drugs — Christopher Allen Alvarez, 31, of the 700 block of Royal Avenue, Medford. Medford police arrested Alvarez Friday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, a felony warrant for possessing methamphetamine, and on warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of possessing methamphetamine and harassment. He was lodged in jail Friday on $33,000 bail. Drugs — Blake Austin Reagles, 26, of the 700 block of Earhart Road, Rogue River. Rogue River police arrested Reagles Saturday on a felony charge of possessing heroin. He was booked in the jail and released Saturday because of overcrowding. Assault — Stephen Shaw Scates, 50, of the 1000 block of Crimson Court, Talent. Medford police arrested Scates Saturday on a felony charge of second-degree assault, misdemeanor charges of fourth-degree assault, harassment and second-degree disorderly conduct, and for violating his parole on a previous first-degree burglary conviction. He was lodged in jail Saturday without bail. Drugs — Ryan Lynn Clark, 31, of the 2000 block of Hobert Street, Medford. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Clark Saturday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, and on misdemeanor charges of attempted second-degree arson and reckless endangering. He was booked in the jail and released Saturday after posting bail. Drugs — Thomas Anthony Smylie, 31, no known address. Medford police arrested Smylie Saturday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine and a misdemeanor charge of second-degree trespassing. He was booked in the jail and released Saturday on his own recognizance. Drugs — Stephen Michael Melton, 60, of the 500 block of Putnam Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Melton Saturday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, and on misdemeanor charges of menacing and second-degree disorderly conduct. He was booked in the jail and released Saturday because of overcrowding. Theft — Kyle James Ludlow, 28, of the 1800 block of Hybiscus Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Ludlow Saturday on felony warrants charging first-degree theft and possessing heroin, and a misdemeanor warrant charging second-degree theft. He was lodged in jail Saturday on $15,000 bail. Drugs — Jeremy Steven Paul, 29, of the 5700 block of Clear Lake Avenue, Central Point. Medford police arrested Paul Saturday on felony charges of possessing methamphetamine and heroin, misdemeanor charges of attempting to elude police on foot, interfering with police and violating his parole on a previous first-degree theft conviction. He was lodged in jail Saturday without bail.   Crime reports Theft — 600 block of Royal Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 5:39 a.m. Friday. Items reported stolen included miscellaneous clothing and assorted keys. The loss was valued at $2,000. Vandalism — 1900 block of Stratford Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of vandalism at 4:23 p.m. Friday. A living room window was reported damaged. The loss was valued at $1,800. Burglary — 1200 block of Orchard Home Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of burglary to a residence at 5:41 p.m. Friday. Items reported stolen included jewelry, an iPad and prescription medication. The loss was valued at $2,350. Theft — 200 block of East Barnett Road, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen electric bicycle at 9:30 p.m. Friday. The loss was valued at $2,200. Burglary — 500 block of Fairmount Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of burglary to a residence at 8:50 a.m. Saturday. Items reported stolen included assorted clothing, an Acer laptop computer, jewelry and an Abu Garcia fishing reel. The loss was valued at $3,655.
