Building Bus Houses for Almeda Homeless By John Stoeckl Updated: Oct 22, 2021 05:35 PM A A Renovating retired school buses into homes. There are four buses being rebuilt in the Rogue Valley. On a gray and somewhat rainy afternoon, students at the Armadillo Technical Charter School learn about copper plumbing which will be applied into the bus build. The Bus is being renovated into a home, complete with kitchen, living space, a wood stove, bathrooom, and sleeping spaces. Each bus will be donated to a family displaced and homeless from the Almeda Fire.
