Rockslide closes Oregon 138 West Updated: Nov 12, 2021 10:01 AM A A ELKTON — Oregon 138 West — the Elkton to Sutherlin Highway — is expected to remain closed the rest of the day Friday due to a rockslide 10 miles south of Elkton, according to a news release from the Oregon Department of Transportation. An estimated 7,000 cubic yards of rock and debris fell onto the roadway early Friday morning and will need to be cleared before the highway can be opened.
