Phoenix man struck by vehicle dies of injuries Tuesday Nov 1, 2016 at 10:10 AM Nov 1, 2016 at 2:25 PM A man struck by a vehicle on Highway 99 just north of Phoenix Thursday died from his injuries over the weekend. Kevin Woolridge, 55, of Phoenix died Saturday morning at Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center, Oregon State Police said in a news release. Woolridge was struck at about 8:45 p.m. Thursday near milepost 11, between Phoenix and Medford. A 2004 Ford Ranger driven by Henry Englehardt, 64, of Medford, was traveling southbound when Woolridge walked in front of the vehicle, OSP said. "The contributing factors into the accident are still under investigation, but the area of the incident was not a designated crosswalk and was not well lit," the news release said. OSP, Mercy Flights, Medford Fire-Rescue, Jackson County Fire District No. 5, Jackson County Sheriff's Department, Phoenix and Talent police, and the Oregon Department of Transportation responded to the crash.
