Gayle Myrna Glover Comment MailTribune.com Writer Posted Oct. 24, 2014 at 2:00 AM Posted Oct. 24, 2014 at 2:00 AM » Social News Gayle Myrna Glover, lifelong resident of the Rogue Valley, passed away peacefully Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center at the age of 95. She was born November 12, 1918 in Jacksonville, Ore. to Charles Beery and Jessie Jones Beery who preceded her in death. She graduated from Medford high school in 1937 and married Edward George Glover on April 23, 1939 in Yreka, Calif. Gayle was a homemaker and enjoyed working in her yard and in her home on Jane's Road, which they built in the 1940s. She loved spending time with family and friends in their cabin at Rocky Point on Klamath Lake. She also enjoyed fishing and bowling at Roxy Ann Lanes. After spending 60 years in their home, they moved to Arbor Place Assisted Living. Soon after moving Edward passed away. Gayle then spent her remaining years there. She was preceded in death by sisters, Gladys Lawson, Wilma Huber, and Madge Penland. Survivors include her son, Robert Glover of Medford, Ore.; grandchildren, Edward Glover and wife Teresa of Millwaukie, Ore., Pennie Logan of Oregon City, Ore., and Robert Glover and wife Danielle of Kettle Falls, Wash.; and six great-grandchildren. At her request no services will be conducted. Contributions in her memory may be sent to your favorite charity.
