Emergency services, May 28 May 28, 2021 08:00 AM A A Felony arrests Arson — Alberto Salcedo-Jimenez, 38, of the 100 block Fern Valley Road, Medford. Medford police arrested Salcedo-Jimenez Wednesday on a felony charge of first-degree arson, a misdemeanor charge of second-degree trespassing and misdemeanor warrants charging him with unlawfully possessing methamphetamine and providing false information to police. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies additionally arrested Salcedo-Jimenez on a detainer for violating his parole on a prior first-degree burglary conviction. He was held in the Jackson County Jail Thursday without bail. Attempted Murder — Jeremiah Lee Carter, 46, of the 3000 block of Hanley Road, Central Point. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Carter Thursday on felony charges of attempted second-degree murder and second-degree assault. Medford police originally arrested Carter Wednesday on misdemeanor charges of second-degree trespassing and second-degree disorderly conduct. He was held in jail Thursday on $202,000 bail. Forgery — William Edward Aney, 31, of the 3000 block of Avenue A, White City. Medford police arrested Aney Thursday on felony warrants charging him with first-degree forgery and first-degree theft. He was held in the jail Thursday on $15,000 bail. Vehicle Theft — Arianne Sue Coder, 20, of the 500 block of Monroe Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Coder Thursday on a felony charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. She was held in jail Thursday on $7,500 bail. Forgery — Heather Anne Dean, 31, no known address. Medford police arrested Dean Thursday on felony charges of first-degree possessing a forged instrument and supplying contraband, a misdemeanor charge of interfering with police and on a detainer for violating her probation on a prior heroin possession conviction. She was held in jail Thursday without bail. Arson — Colin Taylor Duff, 26, no known address. Medford police arrested Duff Wednesday on a felony charge of first-degree arson and a misdemeanor charge of recklessly endangering another person. He was held in jail Thursday on $1 million bail. Arson — Tarin Dante Hummel, 29, no kown address. Medford police arrested Hummel Thursday on a felony charge of first-degree arson and misdemeanor charges of reckless burning and resisting arrest. He was held in jail Thursday on $30,000 bail. Weapon Use — Antonio Zacharias-Diaz, 25, of the 500 block of Monroe Street, Medford. Central Point police arrested Zacharias-Diaz Thursday on felony warrants charging him with two counts of unlawful use of a weapon, misdemeanor warrants charging him with menacing and first-degree trespassing and on a warrant for failing to appear in court on a prior second-degree trespassing charge. He was booked in the jail Thursday.
