Oregon Road Conditions & Cams Email Story to a Friend September 30, 2005 Dead woman wasn’t victim of foul play Autopsy results show no foul play in the death of a 43-year-old Medford woman whose body was found Tuesday in her west Medford residence, police said. While an official cause of death has yet to be established, investigators do not believe Lisa VanDusen was murdered. Police hope to know more about the circumstances surrounding VanDusen’s death in a few weeks when toxicology tests are expected to be completed. VanDusen’s autopsy was conducted Thursday afternoon. On Tuesday, police were contacted by VanDusen’s daughter, who told them that she hadn’t heard from her mother in two days, which she said was unusual, Medford police Lt. Tim George said. A Medford fire crew forced their way into the home in the 200 block of South Columbus Avenue and found VanDusen’s body. Police took charge of the scene when they detected evidence of a a possible disturbance in the residence, officials said. George would not comment on the particulars of the case until police received the results of the toxicology report.
