You wrote an article saying he had been arrested May 24 with marijuana in California. His court date was Aug. 3, but I have not been able to find any follow-up article on the outcome. — Don, Shady Cove   We haven't forgotten about Daniel Lee Gilbert, who was arrested on felony marijuana charges in Yreka, but his case is still pending in Siskiyou County. Gilbert, who was named as an owner-operator on Kush Gardens' state business registry, will be arraigned Nov. 16 on an information document charging him with felony charges of possessing marijuana for sale and transporting marijuana into California for sale, according to Siskiyou County District Attorney Kirk Andrus.  In June, Gilbert entered not guilty pleas on the charges at an initial hearing. In Siskiyou County, after someone's arraigned on an information document, the next steps are to set a trial date or resolve the case with a plea bargain, according to Andrus. Details from police about Gilbert's Yreka arrest were scant. The California Highway Patrol pulled Gilbert over just after noon May 24, allegedly because his Honda Civic's windows were tinted too dark. Police claimed they found probable cause to execute a search warrant, and found marijuana in the car, but refused to say how much.
