Ashland police arrested Edwards late Sunday on a charge of first-degree theft. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail and released two hours later because of overcrowding. Drugs — Julie Anne McLinn, 40, of the 100 block of Seroba Circle, Medford. Medford police arrested McLinn Monday on charges of possession of amphetamine and marijuana and violating probation conditions of a drug conviction. She was lodged in jail but released an hour later because of overcrowding. Theft — Frances Marie Romero, 58, of the 11000 block of Blackwell Road, Central Point. Romero appeared in Jackson County Circuit Court Monday on an indictment charging her with first-degree theft. She was booked in jail and released. Drugs — Linda Joan Clayton, 63, of the first block of West Clark Street, Medford. Clayton appeared in Circuit Court Monday on an indictment charging her with possessing, delivering and manufacturing amphetamine, delivering and manufacturing a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school and two counts each of first-degree child neglect and endangering the welfare of a minor. She was booked in jail and released. Drugs — Carrie Jean Frost, 34, of the 900 block of Newtown Street, Medford. Frost appeared in Circuit Court Monday on an indictment charging her with possession and delivery of amphetamine. She was booked in jail and released. Crime report Burglary — 2800 block of Terr-Mont Loop, White City. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies took a report of a burglarized residence. Items with an estimated $2,000 value were reported stolen from a garage. No items were listed.
