The Fabulous Savoys host Ashland Blues Society Jam Jan 21, 2014 12:00 AM A A The Fabulous Savoys, featuring tenor saxophonist Detlef Eismann, pianist Lynn Offord, bassist John Hauschild, guitarist Scott Rogers and drummer Keith Harrison, will host the Ashland Blues Society's open jam at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 3, at The Little Brown Jug, 104 S. Pacific Highway, Talent. The Savoys will play a set of New Orleans- and Chicago-style blues and southern R&B, including music by Buddy Guy, James Brown, Otis Redding and others. Blues musicians will be allowed to sit in with the Savoys after the set. ABS' jams are held the first and third Tuesdays of every month. It's free to jam and free to listen.
