Adrian "Red" Wineman Comment MailTribune.com Writer Posted Dec. 30, 2014 at 2:00 AM Posted Dec. 30, 2014 at 2:00 AM » Social News Adrian "Red" Eugene Wineman, 90, passed away Saturday, December 20, 2014 at his home in Barnett Woods, Medford, Ore. Born March 25, 1924, he was the eldest son of Clara and David Wineman of Jackson, Mo. Red loved to dance, attending as many as five dances a week. He and wife, Betty Jane would Texas Two Step around the floor all night long. And he was extremely creative; from sewing to upholstery to woodworking and gardening, he always had a special project going. He was a member of several organizations, the Elks, the Eagles, and the Azalea Grange to mention a few. He was a heavy equipment operator who worked for the town of Glendale as well as private companies and he served in the Navy during WWII. Red is survived by his wife of 15 years, Betty Jane; brother, Marvin; son, Stephen; step-children Gregory and Pam Witsman, Jim and June Potter; 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother, LeRoy; previous wife, Priscilla, and step-daughter, Barbara Smith. We will miss you Red... save a dance for us!
