James Raymond (“Jimy”) Angel Comment MailTribune.com Writer Posted Apr. 10, 2015 at 7:51 AM Updated Apr 10, 2015 at 8:00 AM Posted Apr. 10, 2015 at 7:51 AM Updated Apr 10, 2015 at 8:00 AM » Social News James Raymond (“Jimy”) Angel With the sudden passing of James Raymond (“Jimy”) Angel on March 31st at age 49 we have to wonder if the good people on the other side just needed another soul to shake things up a bit! Jimy Angel would definitely fit the bill - a strong man who exuded kindness, fun, and “life.” We can imagine him now dressed in his kilt and his Prada flip-flops surrounded by friends and family who have gone before. Jimy enjoyed life on every level with his wife, best friend, and soul mate, Kelly and their two children, Lauren and Maxfield. Their love for each other was evident to all who had the good fortune to know them. He was a natural giver, always looking out for the people close to him as well as those he didn’t even know; demonstrated by his work with Hearts with a Mission – serving homeless and at-risk young people. Jimy was a favorite uncle for numerous nieces and nephews, whether through blood or friendship. He took special pride in serving as a role model for some of his favorite young people. Jimy was born in 1965 in Tucson Arizona to Ray and Mary Louise Angel. In addition to his wife and children, Jimy is survived by his brother, Brook and his mother, Mary Louise. Jimy provided a glowing example of how to live life through a commitment to professional and personal excellence. He will be greatly missed at Salon Vivid and on stage with the Paul Mitchell team. In truth Jimy will be missed by all those who lived, worked, and played with him. His energy and passion for his family, friends, and work will live on in the hearts of all of us who knew him. There will be a celebration of life service for Jimy at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, April 26, 2015 at the Bear Creek Amphitheatre in Bear Creek Park Medford. Please be colorful… Jimy loved color! In lieu of flowers and to honor Jimy’s passion for helping those around him, please make donations to Hearts with a Mission (www.heartswithamission.org).
