Jackson County sheriff's deputies Thursday added charges of possession of methamphetamine and a probation violation against Pennington. He was arrested Saturday on burglary and theft charges. He remained lodged in the Jackson County Jail without bail. Drugs — Dennis Robert Shrode, 43, of the 600 block of Edwina Avenue, Central Point. Medford police Wednesday arrested Shrode on two counts of possession of methamphetamine. He was lodged in jail, where he remained late Thursday on $15,000 bail. Assault — John Jason Greene, 29, of the 300 block of Darly Street, Shady Cove. Ashland police Thursday arrested Greene on charges of third-degree assault, giving false information to police, a parole violation and failing to register as a sex offender. He was lodged in jail without bail. Theft — Warren Richard Smith, 40, no known address. Medford police Thursday arrested Smith on eight counts of first-degree theft, two counts of first-degree criminal mischief and a probation violation. He was lodged in jail without bail. Drugs — Carl Richard Haney, 29, of La Pine. Medford police Thursday arrested Haney on charges of possession of methamphetamine and a probation violation. He was lodged in jail without bail.
