Man presumed drowned after jumping from bridge LOST CREEK LAKE - A 31-year-old man is missing and presumed drowned after jumping off Peyton Bridge, which crosses the upper end of Lost Creek Lake. Witnesses said that Brian Patrick Nesbit, hometown unknown, jumped 200 feet into the lake Sunday morning and never resurfaced. Jackson County sheriff's deputies responded to a call shortly after 11 a.m. A search was conducted by the sheriff's department search and rescue, dive team and marine patrol, using sonar and an underwater camera. Oregon State Police and Jackson County Fire District No. 4 assisted in the operation. Marine patrol and search and rescue members will continue searching today. Water depth near the bridge is 84 feet and visibility is one foot.
