Medford police arrested Ching Thursday on a felony warrant charging methamphetamine possession. He was booked in the Jackson County Jail Thursday and released because of overcrowding. Vehicle Elude — Matthew Joe Hutchinson, 30, of the 400 block of South Stevens Road, Eagle Point. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Hutchinson Friday on a felony warrant charging attempt to elude police in a vehicle, and on misdemeanor warrants charging reckless driving, attempting to elude police on foot and interfering with police. He was booked in the jail Friday and released on his own recognizance. Vehicle Elude — Jeremiah Duane Richards, 31, no known address. Medford police arrested Richards Friday on felony charges of attempting to elude police in a vehicle and methamphetamine possession, misdemeanor charges of reckless driving, reckless endangering, unlawful entry into a motor vehicle and second-degree criminal mischief, on a warrant for failing to appear in court on a first-degree theft charge and for violating his parole on a first-degree burglary conviction. He was lodged in jail Friday without bail. Sex Offender Registration — Michael Joseph Taylor Jr., 31, no known address. Medford police arrested Taylor Friday on a felony charge of failing to register his address as a sex offender, and for violating his parole on a previous first-degree sexual abuse conviction. He was lodged in jail Friday without bail.
