Viaduct backed up after multi-vehicle crash By Mail Tribune staff Dec 08, 2018 08:09 PM A A A multi-vehicle crash that involved a commercial truck is reportedly causing traffic delays on Interstate 5 between the two Medford freeway exits. A crash involving a semitrailer and four other vehicles occurred just after 7:30 p.m. Saturday on northbound Interstate 5 at the viaduct near Exit 28, according to Emergency Communications of Southern Oregon and Medford Fire-Rescue reports. As of 9 p.m., the crash continued to slow traffic to a crawl on the freeway crews with Oregon State Police, the Oregon Department of Transportation and Medford Fire-Rescue focused on extensive clean-up and the crash investigation, according to a release issued by ODOT.
