Catherine Hoagland Comment MailTribune.com Writer Posted Nov. 10, 2015 at 2:00 AM Posted Nov. 10, 2015 at 2:00 AM » Social News Catherine (Cathy) Hoagland, a longtime Rogue Valley resident, passed away October 31, 2015 after a prolonged illness. She fought bravely for several years before succumbing, never losing her faith or her upbeat disposition. Cathy was particularly fond of cats, and was known for her compassion and generosity toward stray animals. She also enjoyed visiting with her many friends and acquaintances, and watching video films, particularly those featuring the ocean and U.S. Navy ships. She worked for several employers during her career, and particularly enjoyed her years with Butler Automotive Group in Ashland. “I like making clean cars,” she would reply when queried about her vocational choice. She is survived by her brother Justin Finn and his wife, Kirstin Finn, and their three children, currently residing in New York.
