Rogue River Fire District No. 1 responded to 2062 Lampman Drive after receiving a 911 call about a guest house on fire at the property. A woman staying on the property reportedly was awakened by a dog barking and came outside to see the guest house in flames. "We believe it spread from there to the other structures," Capt. Mike Hammond said.  Crews arrived on scene to see fire devouring a double-wide mobile home, an attached carport and the guest house. The fire had also spread to the nearby forestland.  "All three structures were fully involved," Hammond said. "We (also) had trees on fire."  The woman and dog made it out without injury, Hammond said. No firefighters were hurt.  First responders called a second and then a third alarm within a matter of minutes, calling in additional units from the Evans Valley Fire District, Rural/Metro Fire, the Grants Pass Department of Public Safety and Jackson County Fire District 3. All told, about 25 firefighters, five engines and three water tenders arrived to beat back the flames. Crews spent about 40 minutes knocking down the flames. All structures are considered total losses. A damage estimate was not available, and fire officials didn't have details on whether the property is insured.
