According to Cory Crebbin, public works director, Medford places development conditions on subdivisions to improve streets to city standards. Oftentimes these conditions require the demolition of existing substandard streets and sidewalks. Unfortunately there is no construction method that can completely reconstruct a street without some inconvenience to the traveling public, he said.
