Police report fatality in Sunday plane crash By Allayana Darrow Updated: Dec 05, 2021 06:20 PM A A One person reportedly died in a plane crash Sunday evening in the parking lot adjacent to Airport Chevrolet, Medford police said in a news release. The total number of people on board the plane was unknown at the time of the report. Medford police and rescue personnel responded to the crash at 3001 Biddle Road in Medford shortly before 5 p.m. Sunday. Medford Fire-Rescue secured the scene. Police said initial reports indicated one person on board the 9-passenger propeller plane did not survive the crash. No on-the-ground injuries were reported in preliminary information. MedfordAlert reported on social media that power went out in the area due to the crash, which sparked a three-alarm “active fire fight” at Airport Chevrolet, and road closures around the airport corridor.
