Double homicide reported in Siskiyou County Jul 08, 2016 12:00 AM A A MONTAGUE, CALIF. — A married couple found dead in their Northern California home earlier this week are now considered victims of a homicide. In a news release, the Siskiyou County Sheriff's Department reported John Doyle, 69 and his wife, Carol Doyle, 67, were found dead in their home, in the 14000 block of County Road A-12 in the Big Springs area of Montague. The discovery came shortly after a 7:30 a.m. Tuesday 911 call that came from the home. The sheriff's Major Crimes Unit and a forensic technician processed the scene and collected evidence. Information on how the two died was not immediately available, though the sheriff's office release said an autopsy has been conducted and that the results would be released "in the near future."
