Tim George said. Tina Michelle Miller, 42, of the 900 block of Newtown Street, faces charges of aggravated first-degree theft, identity theft and first-degree forgery. Miller made an initial appearance Monday in Jackson County Circuit Court. She was booked into jail then released later in the day on her own recognizance. Police believe Miller used her estranged husband’s name and account information to obtain three credit cards last year. She included her own name on each application as an "authorized signer," George said. Miller is alleged to have used the cards to make dozens of purchases at several different businesses and to pay bills. George said she ended up accumulating about $16,000 in credit card debt. "She used them for anything and everything you could think of," he said. "From food to fuel to toys to power bills to personal items and everything in between." Last August, Medford police launched a fraud investigation focusing on Miller after receiving information that she used fictitious information to obtain a credit card, George said. By November, police were working on three separate cases involving credit cards Miller is alleged to have obtained fraudulently.
