‘Building Healthy Soil’ kicks off ACCESS gardening season Wednesday Apr 4, 2018 at 5:03 PM Apr 4, 2018 at 5:03 PM A free series of presentations on “Building Healthy Soil” kicks off the 2018 gardening season at ACCESS Food Share’s five Rogue Valley gardens. The first presentation of six workshops running through October will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 21, at the Rogue River Food Share garden located at New Beginning Christian Center, 270 W. Evans Creek Road, Rogue River. The presentations are for new and returning volunteers to learn and apply gardening skills. Admission is free. Home gardeners also can participate in the Plant-a-row Program by growing a few extra rows of produce in their home garden and delivering it to local ACCESS food pantries.
