Doris H. Kautz Tuesday Jan 10, 2017 at 2:00 AM December 5, 1931 - January 2, 2017 Doris H. Kautz of Medford, Oregon went home to be with her Lord and Savior January 2, 2017 at Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center in Medford, Ore. She is now with all her family and friends who have gone to heaven before her. She was born December 5, 1931 on a farm near New Leizpzig, North Dakota to William and Katharina Rieger. Doris was the youngest of eight children. She attended New Leipzig High School, graduated in 1949, and continued her education at Dickenson State Teacher's College. She was an elementary school teacher and teacher's aide for a number of years. She married Marvin Kautz June 10, 1951 in New Leipzig, N.D. One of Doris's greatest joys was spending time with her family and sharing love for the Lord. She taught Sunday School at Trinity Bible Church and Good News Club for many years. She was also a volunteer at Asante's NICU for 14 years. She enjoyed gardening, music, Bible studies, and keeping in touch with loved ones. Doris will be missed by those who knew and loved her caring, loving ways and warmth as a person. We know without a doubt that we will see her, our beautiful Mama, in Heaven one day. Even though we grieve her passing, it is not without hope. She leaves behind her loving husband, Marvin; daughter, Debbie Kautz; son, Russell Kautz; and daughter-in-law, Debbie; two grandchildren, Andy and Molly Kautz; and her sister, Catherine Grosz of Bismarck, N.D. A memorial service officiated by Pastor John Page will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Trinity Bible Church at the corner of South Stage and Griffin Creek Roads. Her family would like to express their gratitude for the care she received during her short hospitalization at the Cardiac Care unit of Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center in Medford.
