Berryman to speak on state of city As Medford Mayor Lindsay Berryman sees it, the "visioning" effort that began last year is far from over. In her annual state of the city address on Thursday, Berryman will discuss the importance of using the Vision Plan adopted in June 1999 as a road map for the city�s future. The plan sets out ideals for various aspects of city life � from parks development to economic opportunities. Berryman also is expected to encourage community members to focus on the city as a whole to discover how various elements can work better together. In addition, the mayor likely will talk about the significance of creating places where residents can build stronger bonds, such as community festivals. Berryman will address city employees and the public at noon Thursday in the council chambers at City Hall, 411 W.
