Emergency services, June 5 By Mail Tribune staff Jun 05, 2021 08:00 AM A A Felony arrests Elude — Gregory John Backer, 68, of the 23600 block of Highway 62, Shady Cove. Oregon State Police troopers and Medford police arrested Backer Friday on two counts of attempting to elude police in a vehicle and on misdemeanor charges of reckless driving. He was held in the Jackson County Jail Friday on $25,000 bail. Criminal Mischief — Jason John Bigelow Jr., 35, of the 200 block of North Ivy Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Bigelow Friday on a felony charge of first-degree criminal mischief and on a misdemeanor charge of second-degree criminal mischief. Medford police originally arrested Bigelow Thursday for violating his parole on a prior unauthorized use of a motor vehicle conviction. He was held in jail Friday without bail. Drugs — Timothy James Mini, 29, of the 800 block of West 12th Street, Medford. On Friday, Mini made his initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on new felony charges of possessing heroin and possessing less than an ounce of methamphetamine. Medford police originally arrested Mini Thursday on misdemeanor charges of driving under the influence of intoxicants and reckless driving. He was held in jail Friday on $50,000 bail.
