Oregon Road Conditions & Cams Email Story to a Friend February 27, 2006 Sex offender failed to report address Local police need your help to find a convicted child molester who has failed to remain registered as a sex offender. Jeffrey Allen Chase, 53, was charged and convicted of two counts of first-degree sexual abuse in 1996. His victims were two female children. He was sentenced to more than six years at the Oregon State Penitentiary; he was released in October 2002. As a registered sex offender, Chase is required by law to report his new address within 10 days of moving and within 10 days of his birthday. The last time Chase registered was January 2003 with an address in Medford. Because he has failed to comply with the terms of his parole and to register a current address, the State Board of Parole and Probation has issued a no-bail felony warrant for his arrest. There is an additional felony warrant held by the Medford Police Department for failure to report as a sex offender, with a bail of $20,000. Chase is described as a white male adult, 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing approximately 200 pounds with blonde or gray hair and blue eyes. He has a tattoo of a bird on his chest and a heart tattooed on his upper left arm. The picture shown in today’s newspaper, taken Jan. 1, 2003, is the most recent photo available.
