The Valley Spicers, Grand Auto to join Crater Lake Plaza The two new buildings being built in the Crater Lake Plaza off Crater Lake Highway will be a Spicers Restaurant and a Grand Auto Supply. Grand Auto Supply, which operates more than 150 stores up and down the West Coast as either Grand Auto or Al's, plans to open in early June, the company said. Locally-owned Spicers Restaurant and Dessertery plans to move to the busy shopping center in mid-May. Kevin Williams, who has owned Spicers for nine years, said he's signed a 60-year lease on the property. The restaurant's existing building on Stevens Street will become part of the Medford Center. Williams said the new location will be about the same size but he plans a few changes, including making it all nonsmoking and serving beer and wine.
