Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested James Jan. 28 on charges of failing to register as a sex offender and probation violation. Deputies Sunday added a charge of second-degree assault. James remained in the Jackson County Jail without bail. Drugs — David Allen Whiting, 42, of the 100 block of Sleepy Hollow Loop, Grants Pass. Rogue River police arrested Whiting early Sunday on charges of possessing, delivering and manufacturing methamphetamine in addition to parole violation. He was lodged in jail without bail. Weapons — Stephen John Gaughan, 31, no permanent address. Talent police arrested Gaughan early Sunday on charges of being a convicted felon in possession of a weapon, carrying a concealed gun, probation violations and failure to appear in Medford Municipal Court on a weapons charge. He was lodged in jail without bail. Burglary — Gerald Andrew Frigaard, 24, of the 1900 block of Springbrook Road, Medford. Medford police arrested Frigaard early Sunday on charges of first-degree burglary, private indecency and disorderly conduct. He was lodged in jail, where he remained late Sunday in lieu of $27,000 bail. Fugitive — Jaque Dianne Horton, 45, no permanent address. Medford police arrested Horton Sunday on suspicion of being a fugitive from Washington wanted on forgery charges and absconding from parole in California. She was lodged in jail without bail. Drugs — Nelda Sue Scott, 39, of the 2700 block of Falcon Road, White City. Jackson County sheriff's deputies Monday arrested Scott on charges of possession of methamphetamine and first-degree trespass and for failing to appear on a string of traffic infractions. She was being held Monday in jail in lieu of $48,440 bail. Weapons — Donald Emery Gasperson, 53, no address available. Medford police Monday arrested Gasperson on a charge of being a felon in possession of a weapon. He was lodged Monday at the Jackson County Jail, where he was being held Monday without bail. Kidnapping — David Michael Hoover, 49, of the 17600 block of the Williams Highway, Williams. Jackson County sheriff's deputies late Sunday arrested Hoover on two counts of second-degree kidnapping and two counts of harassment as well as single counts of fourth-degree assault, strangulation and driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was lodged at the Jackson County Jail, where he was being held Monday in lieu of $100,000 bail. Drugs — Christine Carole Yedziniak, 22, no address available. Medford police late Sunday arrested Yedziniak on a charge of possession of methamphetamine and for failing to appear on a third-degree theft charge. She was lodged at the Jackson County Jail, where she was released Monday on her own recognizance due to overcrowding. Drugs — Jason Richard O'Neill, 19, of the 400 block of Garden Circle, Eagle Point. Eagle Point police Monday arrested O'Neill on charges of possession of methamphetamine and for failing to pay a fine for being a minor in possession of intoxicants.
