October 20. 2014 1:32PM Free screening of 'Chasing Ice' documentary set The documentary "Chasing Ice" will be shown from 3 to 4:45 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 23, at the Geos Institute, 84 Fourth St., Ashland. The event is free and open to the public. The movie is about the yearlong Arctic journey of National Geographic photographer James Balog, who set out to show the changes in glacier size. It will also screen at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 24, at the Geos Institute.
