She was born February 28, 1960 in Springfield, Ore. As a small child, Janie moved to Medford, Ore. with her parents, Eldon & Mildred Branson. She was a graduate of Medford Senior High School. Janie met her husband in 1976 and they were married during a double wedding ceremony with her sister on March 30, 1981 in Reno, Nev. They had 3 daughters, and she spent her life being a mother. Janie was a very strong woman who cared for all living things unconditionally. She had a true heart of gold, never thought twice to help those in need and was an angel here on Earth. Janie loved horses and spending time at South Stage Stables, not only as the owner but as a fellow boarder and friend. She enjoyed visiting JoAnns fabric store and has left behind many hand-made blankets for her loved ones. Another favorite place of Janie's was the Beachfront Inn in Brookings, Ore. She would spend time with her family there, sit in the jacuzzi, laugh and listen to the ocean waves. Her biggest pride and joy were all of her grandchildren. Janie is survived by her husband, Margarito Hernandez; daughters, DeEtta, Erika, Keisha; father, Eldon; brother, Bill; sister, Gayla; nephew, Ryan; and her grandchildren, Ceriyah, LeTicia, Nyla, Orlando "Mr.", Kyleah, Alonzo "Froggy," and Isaac JB.. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mildred Branson. A memorial will be held Friday, April 17, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Conger Morris, Central Point. A viewing will be held on the same date and location at noon. A celebration of Janie's life will be held Saturday, April 18, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at South Stage Stables. Janie will be missed by many and remembered each and every day as a devoted wife, nurturing mother, beautiful daughter, thoughtful sister, loyal friend, and loving grandmother.
