Felony arrests Elude — Benjamin Otis Ovenstone, 24, no known address. Medford police and Jackson County Community Justice probation officers arrested Ovenstone Wednesday on additional felony counts of attempting to elude police in a vehicle, identity theft, fraudulent use of a credit card, a misdemeanor count of reckless driving and for violating his parole on a prior unauthorized use of a motor vehicle conviction. Medford police originally arrested Ovenstone Sunday for violating his parole on a separate vehicle theft conviction. He remained held in the Jackson County Jail Wednesday without bail. Criminal Mischief — Jeremy Kyle Gibson, 33, of the 200 block of West First Street, Medford. Central Point police and Medford police arrested Gibson Tuesday on felony charges of first-degree criminal mischief, attempt to elude police in a vehicle and driving while suspended or revoked, a felony warrant charging him with a separate count of driving while suspended or revoked, a misdemeanor charge of hit-and-run and for violating his parole on a prior driving while suspended conviction. He remained held in jail Wednesday without bail. Drugs — Kristi Roseanna Abbott, 50, of the 2300 block of Merry Lane, White City. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Abbott Wednesday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine and on an out-of-county warrant charging her with misdemeanor driving under the influence of intoxicants. She was held in jail Wednesday without bail. Elude — Charles James Hill, 43, no known address. Talent police and Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Hill Wednesday on a felony charge of attempt to elude police in a vehicle, misdemeanor charges of attempt to elude police on foot, reckless driving and possessing heroin and on a misdemeanor warrant for violating his probation on a prior driving under the influence of intoxicants conviction. He was held in jail Wednesday without bail. Aggravated Harassment — Daniel Forrest Keathley, 29, of Hornbrook, California. Ashland police arrested Keathley Wednesday on two felony counts of aggravated harassment and misdemeanor charges of resisting arrest and fourth-degree assault. He was later charged in Jackson County Circuit Court with interfering with a police officer, harassment and second-degree disorderly conduct. He was held in jail Wednesday on $20,000 bail. Criminal Mistreatment — Ragan Dawn Deshane, 42, of the 800 block of West Second Street, Medford. On Wednesday, Deshane made her initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on six felony counts of first-degree criminal mistreatment. She was booked in the jail and released Wednesday on her own recognizance. Theft — Nicole Lea Ann Hayes, 33, of the 700 block of Stevens Street, Medford. On Wednesday, Hayes made her initial court appearance on a felony charge of first-degree theft. She was booked in the jail and released Wednesday on her own recognizance. Theft — Kristin Caroline Martin, 31, of the 3500 block of South Pacific Highway, Medford. On Wednesday, Martin made her initial court appearance on a felony charge of first-degree theft. She was booked in the jail and released Wednesday on her own recognizance. Vehicle Theft — Dwayne Ray Williams, 39, of the 600 block of Pine Street, Rogue River. On Wednesday, Williams made his initial court appearance on a felony charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. He was booked in the jail and released Wednesday on his own recognizance. Theft — Angela Dawn Stevens, 45, of the 600 block of Edwina Avenue, Central Point. Central Point police arrested Stevens Wednesday on a felony warrant charging her with first-degree theft. She was held in jail Wednesday on $7,500 bail. Drugs — Darla LeeAnn Cheek, 28, no known address. Medford police arrested Cheek Wednesday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, misdemeanor charges of menacing and second-degree disorderly conduct and on a sanction for violating her probation on a prior weapon use conviction. She was held in jail Wednesday without bail. Drugs — Kayla Cheryl Navarro, 26, of the 2700 block of South Stage Road, Medford. Central Point police arrested Navarro Wednesday on felony counts of delivering and possessing methamphetamine, possessing heroin and on a federal hold. She was held in jail Wednesday without bail. Drugs — Miguel Angel Espana, 26, no known address. Central Point police arrested Espana on felony counts of possessing heroin and methamphetamine and on an out-of-county warrant for violating his probation on a prior meth possession conviction. He was held in jail Wednesday on $25,000 bail. Drugs — Brent Andrew Emery, 48, no known address. Medford police arrested Emery Wednesday on a felony charge of possessing heroin and on a sanction for violating his probation on a coercion conviction. He was held in jail Wednesday without bail. Crime reports Theft — 400 block of Mace Road, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday. Reported stolen was a white iPhone 6 Plus in a Disneyland case. The loss was valued at $250. Theft — 400 block of East 10th Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of 100-200 pounds of heating and air conditioning copper line at 1:02 p.m. Tuesday. The loss was valued at $750. Vandalism — 400 block of Fairmount Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of graffiti to a fence at 10:48 a.m. Wednesday. The damage was valued at $150. Vehicle Theft — 800 block of Alba Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of a vehicle theft at 1:48 p.m. Wednesday. Items reported stolen inside the vehicle included a black Google Pixel XL smartphone and an 18-inch cultured pearl necklace. The loss was valued at $780. Theft — 1000 block of Sunset Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 1:24 p.m. Wednesday. A wallet containing unknown cards was reported stolen. The loss was valued at $20.
