Jackson County Animal Shelter needs pet food donations By Mail Tribune staff Updated: Apr 15, 2021 03:33 PM A A The Jackson County Animal Shelter has started a pet food drive to fill a “desperate need” for the shelter’s furry denizens, according to a news release. The shelter needs adult and puppy dry food and dry and canned kitten food, both with no dyes. Donations can be brought to the Animal Shelter, 5595 S. Pacific Highway, Phoenix, between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, and from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
