PREP ROUNDUP Tornado second in Shilling tourney BLUE RIVER -- Kyle Freeman's 77 helped North Medford register a second-place finish in the final round of the Shilling Invitational at Tokatee Country Club. North Medford shot a 623 for the tournament, one stroke short of first-place Sheldon. Grants Pass posted a two-day total of 628, which put the Cavemen in a third-place tie with North Bend. Thurston's Justin St.Clair won medalist honors with a 70 and a 72 to give him a 142 total. Kyle Johnson of North Bend finished one stroke back with a 71 and a 72 for a 143 showing.
