Syria: An Uneasy U.S. Exit By Jake Higgins Oct 21, 2019 11:00 AM A A Following the U.S. withdrawal of troops at the northern Syrian border, the Kurds are leaving cities and heading south while a temporary ceasefire with Turkey has provided time for those that wish to escape the northern cities. The withdrawal of United States troops from the northern Syria border has left a region on edge of what is to come next.
