Jackson County sheriff’s deputies Sunday arrested Shaw on charges of first-degree burglary, third- degree assault, second-degree criminal mischief and harassment. She was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, where she was being held Monday in lieu of $25,000 bail. Theft — Larry Cheak Yan Sum, 34, of San Francisco, Calif. Medford police Sunday arrested Sum on a warrant charging him with first-degree theft and identity theft. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, where he was being held Monday in lieu of $100,000 bail. Theft — Hon Chun Lau, 30, of Oakland, Calif. Medford police Sunday arrested Lau on a warrant charging him with first-degree theft and identity theft. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, where he was being held Monday in lieu of $100,000 bail. Drugs — Terry Lee Haynes, 61, of the 1700 block of Orchard Home Drive, Medford. Medford police Monday arrested Haynes on warrants charging him with manufacture and possession of amphetamines. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, then released Monday after posting bail. Drugs — Monica Louise Wheeler, 45, of the 2900 block of Madrona Lane, Medford. Wheeler made her initial appearance Monday in Jackson County Circuit Court on warrants charging her with possession and manufacturing of amphetamines. She was processed at the Jackson County Jail, then released on her own recognizance. Drugs — Lynda Ann Barnes, 45, of the 900 block of Newtown Street, Medford. Barnes made her initial appearance Monday in Jackson County Circuit Court on a charge of possession of amphetamines. She was processed Monday in the Jackson County Jail then released on her own recognizance. Elude — James Edward Patrick, 40, of the 1800 block of Nancy Avenue, Central Point. Eagle Point police Monday arrested Patrick on charges of attempting to elude police in a car and on foot, possession of amphetamines, reckless driving, third-degree criminal mischief and for violating his parole from a previous drug conviction. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail without bail. Miscellaneous Jail releases — A total of 123 inmates were released last week from the Jackson County Jail to meet its new court-ordered cap of 230 inmates. Of those, 37 were released before their scheduled court appearances, 24 were granted an early release from a sentence and 62 were released for miscellaneous reasons.
