Medford Sports HOF banquet tickets on sale By Mail Tribune staff Updated: Sep 01, 2022 11:43 PM A A Tickets are now available for the Medford Sports Hall of Fame induction banquet scheduled for Oct. 22 at Rogue Valley Country Club. Tickets can be obtained online by visiting the Medford Parks & Recreation Foundation website at medfordparksfoundation.org, going to the Events tab and clicking on the Medford Sports Hall of Fame link. Tickets can also be obtained by contacting committee member Gary Miller at 541-261-7089 or [email protected]. New class members who will be inducted include: Jerry Allen (sports broadcasting); Tosha Barnicoat-Firestone (athlete); John Christensen (special contributor); George Daves (athlete); David Faaeteete (athlete); Terry Maddox (athlete); Randy Settell (athlete); Braden Shipley (athlete); Kyle Singler (athlete); EJ Singler (athlete); and Brett Wolfe (coach). Check-in and social hour will begin at 5 p.m., with opening ceremonies at 6 p.m. followed by dinner and then special guest speaker Jessica Pistole, head coach of the Southern Oregon University softball team. Award presentations will begin at 7 p.m. The Medford Sports Hall, of Fame was established in 1985 to commemorate Medford’s rich sports history. The Medford Sports Hall of Fame was created in 1985.
