Chamber Music Concerts announces 33rd season Comment MailTribune.com Writer Posted Jun. 29, 2016 at 5:35 PM Posted Jun. 29, 2016 at 5:35 PM » Social News Chamber Music Concerts announces its 33rd season of presenting world-class musicians in 12 concerts, from September through April. The 2016-17 season features the Akropolis Reed Quintet, Sept. 30; Danish String Quartet, Oct. 14-15; Delphi Piano Trio, Nov. 4-5; Brentano String Quartet, Jan. 20-21; Adaskin String Trio with Ensemble Schumann, Feb. 10-11; Enso String Quartet, March 3; Tallis Scholars, April 3; and the Pacifica String Quartet, April 28. Concerts include evening and matinee performances and take place at the Southern Oregon University Music Recital Hall. Season tickets are available at a 10 percent discount, and single tickets start at $33. Special discounts are available for full-time students, Oregon Trail Card holders, and people age 19-35. Purchase tickets by visiting www.ChamberMusicConcerts.org or calling the box office at 541-552-6154. In addition to the concerts, CMC presents numerous free outreach programs by the performers for members of the community, including SOU students and area schools, retirement communities and the general public.
